I have my Mord-Sith character setting up help behind the walls of the palace for him too so unless Anthony returns you're right it will be.

Question: My character (Quelin) is going after Lord Rahl in the clearing, but he doesn't plan to kill him. Shall we let him get Lord Rahl and let him plead his case (i don't plan to attempt to kill him don't worry ) or should he be captured by Mord Sith then plead his case?

If he were to be captured by Mord Sith, anyone interested in capturing him?

Lord Rahl, winded or not, is going to put up a fight, and so is Aleister. The idea of one of the Mord-Sith actually capturing Quelin is interesting, but unless they die or Aleister pulls a deux ex machina, that would kind of tie Quelin to the Mord-Sith in question. Obviously, it would also be detrimental to the story for Quelin to be Confessed, so watch it, please! I don't want Mal to have too much temptation!

A mord Sith could capture him without capturing his magic, that would give a chance for them to let him go, or for him to escape. But yea, Mal and I were discussing what might happen if Quelin went after Maliss as a potential hostage. Needless to say, it wouldn't end well for him.

if Quelin went after maliss, he would get so screwed so fast. If he gets confessed, it's over for him. You can't break a confession... Thing is Quelin was persecuted for not only being a wizard, but being a wizards who's chief talents are removing light, or using void to destroy. His only capabilities are really bent around destroying everything. So he hates magic users, and he figures Lord Rahl has a lot to do with that kind of stuff, so he needs to question him. But I do like the idea of getting captured by Mord Sith, but not having his magic captured. That way he can get into the story, get close to Lord Rahl and not have to be fighting every single post

Now this presents a new problem. A gifted captive, a confessor of questionable loyalties, and no where safe to question said captive.

Well as for a safe haven, Tessa does own an inn of undetermined location and a staff loyal to rahl. This is completely upto your captors so have fun being dragged around

My current goal is to find a way to secure the "assassin" and then question him about his motives. Meanwhile I think we ought to continue on our way to Aydindril, moving into the Namir province in the Dark Lands. Although we should take things slowly because I'm going to wait just a bit longer to see if Kristi is going to come back as the Mother Confessor, and, if not, I'll need to find someone to replace her. Also, I am going to be sending all of you that I could find friend requests on Facebook. So, if you notice that a creepy guy has attempted to add you, that's me. You don't have to accept, of course.

i could write the Mother Confessor's part if we should need it. I am not as skilled with writing female characters as I am male, but I can make it work, if need be
