This thread is so people can ask whatever comes to mind or suggest possible plots or expectations for future interactions between their characters.
My question:
Can the characters have a conversation like post-to-post?

Sure. That would go rather slow, though, if both players were not online and posting at the same time and it seems like everyone is on at different times, here.  |

Then that means speaking for other characters. Like the important conversation Adela is about to have with Alaric. Am I just supposed to guess at how that character would speak? I'm sure Anthony wouldn't appreciate that...

Well, I said sure. In fact, it would be preferable as it gives every user maximum control over their own character.

I would say a post to post would work best for important interactions like that. I am sure Some phrases and guess work could be used to move your post along a little. Much like a battle. You can do your part and write minor responses from characters. But leave the big choices to them. Once we get further in the RP I think we will get to know each others characters and how they might respond in a certain situation.
For example when I wrote the Drabic plot. I had some responces from Master Rahls character Eris. But nothing major and only to establish a scene and move to the ultimate question of where the attack was coming from. But I used the response that Master Rahl wanted given. I think.(Correct me if I am wrong Master Rahl). Let me know if that is a correct way of treating situations like the one we had or should I do it some other way?

I have a question. Where would be the best place to talk strategy outside of the RP along with plot points. Here? Just as this gets bigger and more indepth, it will help if certain people are on the same page.

Tony has pretty much hit the nail on the head. I was quite pleased with how you wrote the scene with Eris. Well, I was saddened as the Lord Rahl that my wizard was going through such a thing, but you know, pleased that he was strong and did what I asked of him.
Strategy could be discussed here, and I am stickying this thread, but we could always make a new thread for strategy if it would be better..

I believe this will be a good thread to use for now but as the story gets bigger and more in depth ,like Tony said, new threads would possibly need to be created for specific events or characters

He could save Arya from a surprise attack, she'll ask for his help to save Eris, and they will succeed. Arya will then take him to meet Lord Rahl at the Sliph but they run into him before they get there and he saves Lord Rahl from PoC. Because he can't travel with Lord Rahl in the Sliph, Rahl sends Arya with him to take the long way back to D'Hara.

is this thread for all questions or suggestions? cause htats what it seems like... if not jsut move this post . it would be really great if there were a way to notify someone if they were in a story cause then they wouldnt accidentally just never reply when someone starts a thread than involves them... |

Okay so Rahl, what I'm thinking now is you get me ask how I'm going to save Lord Rahl and get me to say the D'hara bond whatcamacall it ( I forget what its called), I take Eis to back to friendly troops with the other guy and Arya goes to try to kill darbric and then we meet up and go find Rahl and confront PoC.

That sounds pretty good, but Eris is currently shackled and we will need to find Drabic first to get the key and free him.

I have had an idea ( yes I know, shocking ). I think it may help RPing if we introduced a very very minor DM (dungeon master for those who don't know ) role, who will send Gars, bandits and the like if things are going slow and also assign quest/goals/objects for characters so as to encourage confrontation, probably by discussing the matter with the involved parties or basing it on their character type ie rouge confessor vs confessor and such.
