Yes, yes, I know you're gasping right now. A plot. For an RPG. How unheard of, right? Well, I'm original like that...
Note: This is set forward in time, after the events of the Sword of Truth books.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Richard Rahl changed many things. He made it possible for people to be born with Subtractive magic. He made it impossible for Confessors to be male. He brought back the Temple of the Winds. Little did he know, though, that he also set in motion a chain of events that would one day bring magic back to it's full capacity in the world, and create many a war.
The War for Truth is now upon us. Those with magic are fighting amongst themselves, using the ungifted as their pawns, vying for power and territories. Beings of dark magic bring terror down upon their victims. Alliances are unsteady at best. Parts of D'Hara have broken apart to be their own, and they rebel against the Lord Rahl, making the wars with the gifted that much harder to fight. The Mother Confessor must deal with a group of renegade Confessors, some gifted, while some of the lands are at civil war. The Old World is in turmoil, with kingdoms clashing in their own wars fought with blades, and the wizards of the Old World are at heavy disagreements. The people of Westland have an alliance with the Midlands, but for how long?
Prophecies speak of you. You are needed in the war. Join, and fight for what you believe in."
