The last of the armies loyal to King Luka had sealed themselves behind the walls of the Grafan fortress. It just seemed too easy. High General Fergus split the army into three groups, one positioned north of the fortress, one to the east, and one south. Collin had ordered the gifted to split between the forces. "Something just feels wrong about this." Collin glanced over at Fergus as they stood ontop of a small hill to get the best view of the area. "I know Fergus, we can all feel it." Fergus just stared out. Collin touched his gift through Odin, it was about time. "I'm sending the signal to attack, best to get this over quickly." With that he shot a massive ball of flame into the night sky. A bolt of lightning errupted from the fortress headed straight for Collin, but was intercepted by a shield thrown up by two of the sorceresses who had followed the army out. "They have gifted back there!" Fergus roared. Collin tightened his grip on Odin and scowled towards the fortress. "They will regret using their gift against me!" Collin sent a bolt of twisted lightning back. It raked the wall bringing a section of it down. As the south army advanced into the fortress, he glanced to the north and seen the army hadn't moved. It was fighting a force from the North. From Tanimura. From Queen Celest, the gate keeper to the new world.

Queen Celests' army was stalled, it tried to roll over the force in its path but had not realized that a wizard was with them. The southern force had breached the fortress, so the group Collin was with turned its attention to the deadlock to the north. "To the Keeper with them!" Collin threw the report across the tent. "Those damn fools think to fight against me?" The messanger stayed bowwed fearing to move. "Go get my horse, we move at one! Those gifted fools will pay for defying me!" He ran from the tent fearing Collins wrath, should it turn on him. Collin paced around his tent muttering angrily to himself when High General Fergus poked his head in. "The army is ready to move Emperor." Collin glared at Fergus. "It's about time!" Fergus pulled a sealed note from his pocket. "What's this?" Fergus said nothing. Collin carefully read the report, then read it over again. "We will have to deal with the queen quickly general, this matter requires my immediat attention." Collin noticed the messanger ariving with his horse. "Lets go finish this."

Odins gem glowwed fiecely as Collin channeled yet more of his power through his staff. He hammered at the shields the gifted fools threw up against him to block his devastating magic. The ground between his army and the retreating Tanimura army was littered with the dead. "Emperor their force is scattering. We have won!" Fergus looked overjoyed at the sight. Collin scowled. "I want every one of their men we captured 'questioned'. I trust you can get me answers Fergus." "Have I ever let you down Emperor?" Collin glanced at the High General. "Just that once. Ferguss' face went crimson, and he opened his mouth to respond. "I want an escort ready at once, I must return to Altur'Rang." "As you command Emperor." Collin threw one last bolt of lightning at the fleeing force before he rode back to his men.
