If you have a question, scan this thread, first. If the answer to your question is not here, ask and I will answer.
Mass Forces
Throughout your roleplaying experience, the chances are you will at some time or another be commanding soldiers, wizards, etc. These forces will not count as your characters. They are basically a pre-created character that follows your orders, so to speak. You can tell them to jump off a cliff (the chances are they wouldn't do so though,) or you can tell them to attack an enemy force. They are yours to command as you wish.
Admin's Take in the Game
As the admin, I control many things about the RPG. I also fully intend to play the RPG myself. But don't worry — I won't use my admin powers to make my character any better than anyone elses, or push my chosen alliance ahead in ranks. So, let it be known that while playing the game, our characters can be perfectly equal (unless you choose to make a weak character — that, I cannot control.)
Spells and Webs
All of the spells from the Sword of Truth books are allowed here, plus some more. Can you say a lightning-like bolt of Wizard's Fire? Or a concentrated swell of Subtractive magic that expands like a net as it rakes the ground in front of you? Well, if you can say it, you can do it. Nothing out of Sword of Truth context is allowed, of course. No using "kamehameha." But you are free to customize and mix-and-match with your spells. Try using it for awesome battle tactics, like gathering the moisture in the air and concentrating it ahead of a group of soldiers into a thin layer of water, and then igniting Wizard's Fire over it, sucking the heat out of it and freezing it, so you can watch the soldiers slip and slide across the ground as you tear into them.
