It had been a number of days since Alaric was rescued by his men. They had comeback for him, he had told them not to, but they disobeyed. He could forgive them for that, after all they saved his life. The army was in full retreat to the city of Caska. The wizard from the old world had healed him. Cronos he called him self. A very powerful ally he had come to find. He had also meet another very interesting individual. Joshua, a hole in the world, a pillar of creation. At least that is what Cronos called him. Apparently he is on a mission to kill the lord Rahl. The good spirits were definitely on his side, to bring someone to him who can not be touched by magic to kill Rahl. The even better news was it was going to happen soon. Rahl was no protected in the peoples palace. He was in Caska. The attack they suffered was a ploy to drive them towards Caska. Were he believes Rahl is waiting with a number of gifted to eliminate his army. It all connected in one brief moment of clarity. Rahl had made his final mistake. during all the fighting the men had not noticed. They were to preoccupied with the battle and the retreat. But now that they had the time to focus...Men of the first file were chosen because they were seen as the most loyal, that usually meant full blooded D'Haran. The bond was strongest with them. Weather Rahl forgot that fact or choose to ignore it did not matter. They new where he was. They felt him towards the south. A clever plan all ruined by the thing that made Rahl powerful. He will be brought down by his own bond.

He had given Joshua command of his gifted and a number of soldiers. He would lead his army in to the trap. Rahl would think everything worked as planned. Then a team of gifted and a hole in the world would take them down. He had given the order days ago. It was almost time. "Captured if possible, dead if necessary" He had told Joshua.
