Personality: Completely rational. All about knowledge and learning stuff. Not very social, and her position as Mother Confessor only strengthens that.

Short History: Adela has lived in Aydindril since birth. She was raised in the Confessor's Palace and spent most of her time at the Keep, learning from the infinite amount of knowledge stored there. Her mother wasn't very special when it came to Confessors, and no one expected a lot from her, so she mostly kept to herself.
Adela's Confessor power is so great that the only known person to match it would be Kahlan. But Kahlan didn't have both sides of the gift and Adela is more than efficient in both, having learned everything needed from countless books and helpful wizards.
She's been the Mother Confessor for 6 years.
