Knoxx had requested they leave most of the men at an inn. Collin had at first thought it foolish to stop when they were so close, but he had realized he could not come before them dressed as a common soldier and with out a plan. During his short time at the Pickled Goose he came to realize he would need to see the confessors before he went upto the keep. Being widely considered to evil and a liar, out for nothing but personal gain he would be thrown in the dungeon of the keep or killed on sight. However the confessors were arbitors of truth and justice, so they would hear him out before taking rash actions. ********** Knoxx and the five guards he had chosen to acompany The Emperor to the the Confessors palace slowwed as they neared the entrance to the grand structure. Collin was deep in thought and hardly noticed as Knoxx and the guards all drew their weapons. Knoxx pushed his arm out to halt Collin as they moved into the entry hall. Being shaken from his thought Collin looked up to reprimand Knoxx but was taken aback by the scene. Guards sat slumped at their posts and petitioners littered the floors. Some with no more than small holes in their skulls or chests, others with no sign injury. The door at the back of the room that lead deeper into the palace had been blown apart, and through it the bodies of guards and confessors alike were visible. Collin said nothing and headed towards the shattered doors, Knoxx and his men silently followed him. As they entered the hall an explosion echoed from the distance towards them.
