General Knoxx glanced around as he rode slowly through Aydindril. There was static in the air, like before a battle. A vase filled with flowers fell from the second story window of one of the buildings up the street. The crash it made when it hit the ground sent people flying for cover faster than they would have had Knoxx charged down the street on his horse. Realizing it was nothing people began to move back out into the open. Knoxx leaned over to speak with Collin who had insisted on walking. "Emperor, we need to leave now." He whispered into Collins ear. "This city is a powder keg, and I don't think we should be here when the spark hits." The Emperor didn't turn to face him, he kept his eyes forward as they marched down the street. "General this is too important to back away from, especially now. The Keeper probably has agents after us to ensure this warning does not reach the keep, and every second of inactivity gives them time to find us." A chill went up Knoxxs' spine. Collin had confided in Knoxx what exactly had happened in Altur'Rang, and why they needed to head north. Thoughts of the Keeper entering their world had trouble his sleep since. "Understood Emperor, but we should stop at an inn first. The men will need somewhere to sleep." The Emperor simply nodded as they continued down the street.
